Bucky's Hot Dog Cart

A block from Market Square at Droningens Gade and Gutters Gade is Bucky's Hot Dog Cart...
I had to come to the Virgin Islands to finally get a vegan hot dog from a cart...
service was extremely friendly, but I took lunch to go...
Enjoyed at home. Wasnt a Field Roast Frank, so I assume it was a Worthington Link. Very delicious.
Also around the Island, Banana Trees are apparently going to begin producing because farmers have cleared all the brush around them. I will keep an eye on their progression...
Yesterday, the Queen Mary 2 docked at Crown Bay. Cruising on this ship is on my bucket list. It was a thrill to be so close...
in bloom this week...
Lots more to come. Bye for now.

  1. Do they only sell vegan hot dogs or other kinds too?

    1. They sell other kinds but keep the vegan ones nice and separate. Thought the pic of the menu would come out clearer than it did.

    2. Oh, that's good that they keep them separate. Too many places claim they have vegetarian/vegan options, then dunk 'em in with the meat.

    3. I hate to be that vegan, but it's not about purity for me- just general grossness. Dunked in the meat indeed! gag.

  2. That's so cool to find a vegan dog on a cart. They have lots of hot dog carts in downtown Seattle, but I've never checked for vegan dogs. It's so beautiful on the island! That ship is HUGE!!!

    1. I am sure there must be vegan Hot Dog carts in Seattle. If not, that may be your calling.

  3. How cool to find a vegan hot dog on the cart! I'm glad the service and taste were up to par :) I'm sure buying a package of vegan hotdogs would be waaaaay overpriced so having this must have been a nice treat.

I had no idea you were interested in going on a cruise! Hopefully you'll make it on to that ship one day :) Gorgeous flowers!

    1. Unlike your's, my bucket list only has about three things on it and taking a cruise is on there.

  4. You really are living the good life! It's freezing in my house right now and it's snowing. Perusing the beaches, getting a vegan hot dog, day dreaming of a cruise... I'm on my way!

    1. I heard you were getting that typical Denver weather. Hard yo imagine such a thing way down here. Hope you dug a path for your son to do his business.

  5. Ha! That's amazing! I've never seen a vegan dog at a cart!
That cruise ship is enormous.... When i bike down the west side highway there are always cruise ships docked at the piers in the 50s- maybe they cruise over to you! Will you do anything for Tday this year? I can't imagine it's a "thing" there....

    1. The cruise ships are quite a feat of engineering. One day I will step foot on one to see what's up. We are planning to take the ferry to St. John tomorrow, doubt much will be open. How about you? Gathering with friends? i remember you made the Arugula, Tempeh and Pom Seed Salad a couple years ago that sounded. so good. The Chickpea, Orzo and Mustard Greens Soup in today's Times seemed up your alley.

  6. Love the Bucky's cart! I always do veggie burgers...I really need to try a vegan dog out sometime.

I wish cruise ships were still the travel norm...I hate flying.
