Charlotte Amalie

The capital of St. Thomas, Charlotte Amalie, seems super touristy at first glance, but there are plenty of ancient nooks and crannies to explore...
I enjoying walking the narrow alleyways built hundreds of years ago...
finding parking in town isnt always the easiest. When I do find parking, it is often parallel parking, not my forte, otherwise I would go into town way more often...
Creque's Alley supposedly once held pirate's treasure. Now it holds a little non-vegan-friendly cafe...
some gorgeous hanging flowers...
The below sundial was part of a solar eclipse expedition in the early 1900's, after the expedition it was forgotten til unearthed in 1975...
a gorgeous brick pond near the sundial. No indication of who it belongs to or who maintains it...
Pasta Go Go, is semi-hidden amongst the alleyways...
the inside is bright and modern...no A/C obviously...
there are several tables outside for catching a breeze. 'Go Go House Pasta' $8 Arugula, Garlic, Tomatoes, Olives and Capers...
with Side Salad $5 sans Croutons. Very fresh tasting, reasonably priced,  and generous portions. Their Veggie Burger is vegan, however, the bun is not. The Mr. has enjoyed their egg & cheese breakfast sandwiches and coffees on several occasions...
the local Banana Trees are blooming. The large purple flower is actually considered a vegetable in some cultures. I have yet to see it on a local menu...
So perhaps I learned ya a little something today. Bye for now.

  1. What a beautiful little town. It almost looks European to me in certain pics. It's funny… I still can't believe you moved down there! I'm still so impressed, haha! And even more jealous as we are knocking on winter's door, ;) And I definitely choose to believe that Creque's Alley once help pirate treasure. That is all kinds of awesome. Great post!

    1. I wonder about eating the flower as well. it would be a shame for them to go to waste if they're edible. They would also look nice in a vase.

  3. The second picture is so cool. Is that a crusted over anchor?
Love the outdoor fish pond too. i hope someone is taking care of them.
you know i'm not the biggest fan of pasta, especially without a sauce, but I do love olives and capers on anything that will take it.

  4. Erect On Demand Review

If you are a lady, I'm pretty sure you want to date a Mr right and keep him beyond marriage. Every lady wants that but sometimes that is not what you get. You may have not done anything grossly wrong but you lost your recent date who had even promised you an engagement ring before Christmas. Being a lady, I know how it feels to lose a good date.

With high profit potential, low entry deposits, the binary options industry has been boosted to the extent that speculators now actively seek binary trading options methods to help maximize their profits farther. An increase in the amount of various binary options trading strategies is aptly reflected from the popularity of binary options trading within the recent months.

    1. Binary trading options sound a little bit more on the up and up than 'erect on demand' (pun intended) but please stop spamming me, Jonita. It's not nice,

Peradventure, you have begun to lose your ego and masculine personality because of your frequent weakness or inability to have strong penile erection that will satisfy your wife in your sex chamber. As a result, your wife has become insecure because she is not being fulfilled sexually. If that is the case, here are natural ways for erectile dysfunction cures.

  7. Well! Apparently this post brought some enthusiastic new comments...! Haha.
What an adorable area that is, i would love nothing more than to spend time walking and wandering around. Parallel parking has never been a strength of mine either. Although i do enjoy watching as nyc drivers try and squeeze into supertight spots. It's 50/50 they bonk one of the other cars.
That pasta looks great, and definitely brownie points for the setting

    1. parallel parking freaks me out enough, but in a city like NYC where undoubtedly restaurant patrons are sitting and laughing at me while I try to park... I will pay for the garage...

Bad habits didn't develop overnight and they can't be undone in that manner either. These toxins that we rely on have addictive properties that are hard to shake.
