Another Weekend Recap

Two days of eats seems like a theme. Starting with breakfast yesterday, a Toasted Bagel with Jelly at Cup N Kettle, a delightful tea shop...
aside from the warm service, they offer an incredible view...
Cant let a week go by without hitting De Coal Pot for the Veggie Delight...
Dinner was carried out from Natural Livity: Stewed Sausage, Pasta and Kale. The owner of Natural Livity is moving to Harlem in a couple months, but promised to give me the recipe for the Sausage before she goes. We shall see....
My Brother's Workshop has little vegan cakes for 50 cents each....
Really great for satisying one's Chocolate cravings....
This morning I went to Gladys' to put Unknown's breakfast suggestion to the test:
It happened! Avocado Toast! I squeezed the Lemon from my Iced Tea on top. The whole breakfast including Iced Tea was $10.75. Awesomeness! Thank you, Unknown!!!
so this is just a partial weekend post. After breakfast, we went diving, so no lunch and now dinner is just gonna be a repeat of last night. Anyway, thanks for lookin. Bye for now.

  1. Wait, what?!?! PLEASE tell me the Natural Lividity lady is planning to make vegan food in harlem!! Specifically close to my apt :))

I'm so glad the avocado toast worked out well for you! Diving for the rest of the day sounds just amazing... And little chocolate vegan bites look like the perfect dessert.

No inside scoop on oscars, they just have to write press releases on who was wearing what and deal with social media stuff. We pushed brunch this week to tuesday night happy houring to celebrate a bday girl

    1. I have a month and a half to get the scoop on where Jahleela is going to set up shop. originally, I believe she said she was only going to do specialty catering, but I dont think she can live without the daily adulation she gets dishing out her creations.

Again, I cant thank you enough for the Avocado Toast suggestion. The Avocado could not have been more perfectly ripe. Shame on me for thinking of eating eggs again (if only on the weekend)

Guess you did wine and Tapas for happy hour?

    2. There was wine but we went to her favorite place that does $1 oyster happy hour and a whole lotta seafood so i ended up with fries. The wine and company made up for it :)

  2. I love the knife, or jam spreader? on the plate with your bagel! That view, although it seems every restaurant you've been to, even when the food wasn't great has had an amazing view. Diving sounds AHMAZING!
Awesome way to have avocado toast!!!

    1. The Tea House treats their customers very well. Serving with plates and utensils gathered from their trips around the globe. Diving is okay. I still need to get better at it to enjoy it more.

  3. Avocado toast is seriously the best! I wouldn't be surprised if they add it to their menu ;) The avocado looked perfect too! That is a seriously beautiful view to enjoy whilst eating a bagel. I can't believe the Natural Livity lady is moving to NY! What a bummer for you! How cool that she offered the recipe to you, I hope she delivers.

Hope you had fun diving! Sounds pretty great!

I know I've been MIA but I will have some FL recap posts coming up this week :) I just have to organize everything, yikes!

    1. I agree that Gladys' is probably gonna steal the Avocado Toast idea. The restaurant does well by Avocado.

      Get that Florida post up!

  4. Wait, wait, wait. Why can't you make your own avocado toast? What am I missing? It would be 1/10th of the price!
