before departure I picked up a Veggie Pate from one of the four food stands in the ferry terminal...
Three dollars for a huge Pate. Now I understand why I see so many locals walking around eating these. Talk about stick-to-your-ribs food! Sure hope it was actually vegan...
the point of our trip was a two tank diving excursion with Low Key Watersports...
they did a good job, but we mainly saw tons of coral. Not many fish at all. I recently purchased another underwater camera and the Mr. paid for the waterproof housing. Below are some of the pics thay came out. A Moray Eel (left bottom corner)...
a Barracuda...
caught the noon ferry back to St. Thomas and went to Gladys' for lunch. I just recently relooked at their lunch menu and noticed Gazpacho, so I had to try it. Very tasty and refreshing, I would definitely get it again...
also got a side order of out of focus Fries which were excellent...
Dinner will be this Salad I made at Moe's Market earlier. To be enjoyed with Ranch Dressing...
Lots more to come. Bye for now.
That pate thing looks great, even if i have no idea what that is exactly... Those are some great underwater photos! Maybe the pretty fish were just hiding today. That gazpacho looks delicious! It's still a bit early for good tomatoes here, gazpacho is one of my favorite summer dishes.

The Pate is just dough with some filling. You are the one who got me into Gazpacho! i never had a good one till LPQ and that gave me an appreciation. Hope you arent melting into the asphalt this week.
DeleteOut of focus fries always taste the best but I don't see them on the menu around here much.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful underwater pictures, especially the coral.
I outghta start eating more gazpacho.
You should try Le Pain Quotidien's Gazpacho. Comes with bread! I miss it.
DeleteYay! Underwater camera, snorkeling, gazpacho. All of these things happened because I commented about them last week, right? 😂 I think these photos might be even more stunning! So sad about the pirate ship. That is something that is quintessential to that area of the world!
ReplyDeleteYour comments made the Gazpacho and Underwater Pics happen. Still consuming hot soup though I gotta admit.
DeleteOooh what a great day!! I love your snorkeling pictures so much. Ocean and sea life is absolutely amazing to me and seeing any pictures of it instantly makes me happy. The meals look amazing as well! It's always a successful day when you can find good vegan meals and get to see some cool marine life :)
ReplyDeleteI guess I meant successful like I 'survived' the scuba diving and the taking the ferry back and forth wasnt too much of a hassle. But also successful in that a few pics actually came out.
