Back In The USVI

Arrived home late Sunday night and all my babies survived...
Monday morning, Scrat, Calvin and Molly were back on the beach...lousy phone pic...
for some reason, I was craving Mexican, so we did Greengos for lunch...
Tuesday's lunch was Black Bean Soup carried out from Frenchtown Deli...
yesterday, we did Jen's Island Deli...
today I carried out Cashew Tofu from Saki House, but forgot to take a picture, so here is what is looked like when I ate there on April 29th. I am still kind of out of it from the trip.
Lots more to come. Bye for now.

  1. Scrat and Calvin both look like they grew while you were gone! It's nice seeing them again!
    The cashew tofu looks amazing!

    1. I think they did grow, I had to buy Scrat a bigger collar when I got back. Hope he is finished.

  2. I'm sure the kids were thrilled to welcome you back home :)) that burrito looks wonderful to me, and certainly nothing like what you had when traveling. The jet lag and adjusting to every day routine and work can be rough for a few days.

    1. I did see a Chipotle in Paris;-) I think I am still adjusting to being back home. Being immersed in such a different culture really took it out of me this time. What if I never recover?!

  3. Awww I'm sure you were all so happy to be reunited! I'm glad that the house sitter experience seemed to be a good one for you and hopefully this means you and the Mr. will get to take more trips together in the future! They look so happy frolicking on the beach!

Really great looking meals! My eye is definitely on that cashew tofu dish!

    1. As I have said a billion times: dont know how your Bro and SIL do it. What preparations do they make for when you sit? Do they buy all your food and the critters and Delilah? Do you make daily contact? Are you there when they return? It is exhausting to deal with so many logistics.

  4. I'm so glad you two went on a trip together! I know that doesn't happen often. The fuzzies look very happy to have you home!

    1. It has been many many years since the Mr. and I travelled together. Thankfully, everyone survived and at least the Fuzzies are back in their routine even if I'm still feeling squirrely.
