Thyme is such a popular herb down here...
Genips galore...
scary knife to have laying around...
Coconut Juice Man getting angry at me for taking his pic...
I have been having really bad luck with Avocados lately, so I just got a small one for $2...
this time I waited till Tuesday to cut it open, should have held out till Wednesday...
but it made for decent Avocado Toast...
few things better than driving around sipping a PB Banana Smoothie from
Love Livin. Oh the pleasure!
A showy flower I pass on the road regularly. Thanks for looking. Bye for now.
Oooh the market seriously looks great. All of the fun produce you find there! The avocado looks huge but the seed is so big. The avocado toast looks amazing though and so does the tofu dish. I have been craving a peanut butter banana smoothie and just threw some bananas in the freezer a few days ago! I'll have to make it soon.
ReplyDeleteThe flower is beautiful! I hope all is well with you, the Mr. and your beautiful furry crew.
I know, the Avocado pitt was huge. Guess we are used to Hass Avocados.
DeleteI agree - beautiful market! There are vendors here that don't appreciate a snap either. Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteWhat a strangely shaped avocado! I'm glad it tasted delicious!
Well, if someone is gonna put on a big show of hacking up coconuts with a machete, they shouldnt be surprised if someone snaps a pic!
DeleteI agree on the Avocado. Last year, I didnt buy any cuz I couldnt believe they were actually Avocados.
I had one of these avocados a couple of years ago. I remember it tasting only slightly avocado-y, but I couldn't put my finger on what was missing.
DeleteWhat a great market! Some people make thyme lemonade, not my thing but i do like thyme in soups and such.
ReplyDeleteHow silly he got upset you took his photo. Perhaps he has a glamorous backstory and is working undercover or in the witness protection program ;))
Your smoothie doesn't have a lid???! You must have some very smooth driving skills!
