Sunday Spoils

The Mr. returned today after three weeks in Virginia and with him came lots of Chocolates. We had parted on a sour note, so this sweetened the reunion...
he also gifted me a bottle of Salad Dressing from the flight. I will have to toss some micro greens with this...
not only that, a friend of his in Virginia sent me down this cookbook! Very unexpected!
In other news, I began fostering this little guy four days ago. He is five months old with a broken leg and in need of constant stimulation. Yesterday, I was sitting on the sofa with one of those fancy toothpicks in my mouth that have the colored celophane on the end (yup, life is good). This fella came right up to my face and pulled the toothpick straight out of my mouth. I believe that clever move was the deal sealer that will result in an offical name and adoption.
and finally, a delicious meal on the agenda for tonight: three big Artichokes off the Salad bar at Fruit Bowl...
Lots more to come. Bye for now.

  2. Awesome chocolate haul! Well done, Mister! I've heard of Happy Cow for restaurant reviews, but not a cookbook - you'll have to share what you decide to try!

Look at that adorable face! What does Molly think of the newest tenant? I have fostered before, but Remy is a one human dog, and would pout when I give my attention to another. It's okay with Frankie, be used he knows that he will go home!

    1. Molly is handling her new brother better than expected, although she has not been getting the amount if attention she was used to. Fostering is very stressful.

    1. He is extremely rambunctious. At least when he gets the cast off, we can take him to the beach to burn off energy. The other critters are handling him quite well, except the cast does freak them out.
