Vacation From Vacation

The Mr. agreed to babysit while I go see beauty elsewhere. Below are my last meals here before taking off for a week. I have shown them before but I they are my faves. Starting with breakfast yesterday at Pasta Go Go, a European style cafe (oh yeah, Europe is where I am going)...
lunch was my favorite 'Veggie Delight' at De Coal Pot....
Dinner was just Boca Burgers at home. I was too lazy to go out....
This morning a cruise ship was in port, so Gladys' was open...
I got to see Gladys making fresh Soursop Juice. Wish I had taken a pic...
Lunch was at Amalia Cafe...
Gazpacho...
the Vegetable Plate. There was so much that I plan to have the leftovers for dinner tonight.
Tomorrow morning I fly to Miami and then on to Frankfurt. If all goes well, I hope to blog the trip. It will be my first time in Europe being dairy free and a non-coffee drinker, so that will be a challenge. Below is the face of someone who would be extremely traumatized if a stranger were to come in and take over the house (although that person might do better at sweeping up the cat hair)...
this little gal probably wouldnt care as much...
this one requires round the clock love...

  2. These look like some great meals! Is there an ice cube in the gazpacho...?? The roasted veggies and pasta looks wonderful too.
How exciting! I've never been to Germany, hopefully you can find some great vegan food (i'm fairly certain those traditional soft pretzels are actually vegan). And all the beer! Glad the Mr will take care of the kids while you're away :) I would love to read about your trip if you're able to post!

    1. Yes, for some reason they do put little ice chips in the Gazpacho. Odd, but it doesnt diminish its excellence. So many big pretzels to be had here. They are everywhere. I saw businessmen eating them on the train this morning,
